Ph.D. Computational Science, University of Texas at El Paso- El Paso, Texas Focus on Data Analytics and Computer Modeling for Data Visualization (August 2018-Current) - Create a Smart Electrical Parking Structure that incorporates PV Energy production through Solar Panels, Energy Demand Forecasting, Battery Optimization, Lifecycle, and Predictive Analytics for parking Use-of-Day demand for potential incorporation at UTEP. - Focus on Artificial Neural Network algorithms for predictions and KNN classification methods using a Norwegian API to predict the amount of rainfall and weather in the next hours. - Lecture and plan the Data Analytics class for graduate Industrial Engineering students approximately 20-25 students per class.

Work Experience
El Paso Electric- El Paso, Texas: April 2022 – Currently - Data Scientist and Business Intelligence Analyst
o Lead Datawatts group, a grassroots initiative within the company to expand knowledge on Power BI using lunch and learns every month as well as Office Hours every Tuesday and Thursday for two hours. o Create Power BI reports enterprise-wide for various groups which includes Power Generation, Supply Chain, Forensic Auditing, Energy Efficiency, Sustainability, and AMI implementation. • Tasked with creating all 40 AMI dashboards which include Meter Exception, Electric Hot Sockets, Orphan Meters, etc. • Supply Chain effort won TMS First Digital Supply Chain Transformation award where the reports highlighted in Power BI were Inventory Overview, Inventory Turnover, Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order, Supplier Diversity Summarization and Prediction, and Contract Requisition. • Create Benford Analysis for the Forensic Audit team to highlight fraud within the company and from Suppliers. o Create the first Predictive Model for Supplier Diversity taking into consideration historical data from 2005 and current YTD spending to predict end-of-year spending. The project was made in Python and translated visually into Power BI. o Aid in a Six Sigma project for three Solar Generation farms specializing in reducing downtime and failure prediction, as well as implementing an SOP for inverter and tracker failure in collaboration with Pearce Renewables who give maintenance to the solar farm. • The project is estimated to save 1.3 million dollars per year in its first year of implementation.
Almacenes y Distribuidores de la Frontera- Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico: September 2019 – April 2022 - Data Analyst
o Summarize daily transactions for the 280 stores situated across the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. o Market basket analysis for 56 categories across all 280 stores to determine actionable items and selling points for different products. o Develop and introduce Power BI for Data Visualization Migration of all 280 stores. o Maintain the WMS system for the three distribution centers located throughout Ciudad Juarez with a throughput of 280 stores with an average of 4,000 products per day. o Develop 3 weekly progress reports for our distributors like Heineken, Coca-Cola, Alaska, and internal reports for each Director within the company. o Oversee the implementation of on-demand applications for convenience shopping like Rappi and SwiftIQ analytical tools. o IT operations customer support for all stores involving problems with the in-house point-of-sale. o Employ R and Python to find forecasting measures and discrepancies within the data and create reports as needed.
SmarTours- New York, New York: March 2021 – January 2022 - Data Analyst
o Create the Power BI Dashboards (E-Commerce, Paid Search Effort, Total bookings, Biggest Movers, Age Demographics, Source/Medium, Guest summarization, etc.) for the Company totaling 500 bookings per day and visualize any acquisition trends. o Develop a Propensity Model for the Direct Mail effort totaling 600,000 users. o Develop daily and weekly summarizations of the E-commerce sector, the company’s financial standing through Google Analytics, and automatic reports performed through Power BI. o Develop and maintain the End of end-of-month price changes for ~600 departures encompassing ~70 different tours and model a predictive analysis of the current bookings and future bookings. o Develop an Attribution Model to accurately portray where bookings were being developed encompassing 5 different variables. o Create a web scraping project to find out what the most popular destinations are around the world.
Stahmanns Pecans- Mesa, New Mexico: October 2020 – March 2021 - Data Analyst
o Create and maintain 15 Power BI reports for the different departments within the company ranging from the Marketing and sales Department to Inventory Operations. o Coordinate with the warehouse the WMS “WithoutWire” to make sure that the Warehouse and Inventory are up to date and fix anything that might arise from the software, either in the Server or in the online registry. o Focal point for Harvest collection and summarization for all 3,500 acres. Create a program (Excel) to summarize the total collection of harvest and improved points for next year. o In charge of the program for irrigation and model deployment for future practices in the 3,500 acres. o Development of automatization and summarization of all orders incoming and coordination with the Warehouse about sending them (3 orders per day).
Metropia Inc- El Paso, Texas: September 2016 – June 2019 - Operations Engineer
o Operate and maintain the El Paso/Juarez/Las Cruces area network by inputting on average 25 incidents and closures in the region to the network through QGIS. o Data and statistical analysis for TXDOT and the City of El Paso by doing Origin-End Destination services, trip summarization, and data manipulation of 350,000 trips. o Maintain and operate the database operations on Periscope Dashboard OS and design the layout of the website for the customers of 40 dashboards in SQL. o Customer service representative for the El Paso/ Juarez/ Las Cruces area interacting one-on-one with customers on average 30 times per day through Zendesk.
Honeywell Aerospace- Albuquerque, New Mexico: July 2015 – September 2016 - Operational Excellence Engineer
o Engineering Testing and Simulation Safety Focal and Monthly Safety Metrics meeting lead included spearheading the monthly Safety meeting where I met with the 340 Lead Engineers for North America to talk about any incidents worth mentioning and resolve any issues, such as performing and guiding the Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action studies for each incident after analyzing and leading the corresponding 5 Why Camp. o Operational Focal for the Honeywell Aerospace Albuquerque site where I conducted 3 quarterly audits aligning to AS9100 and AP-1152 and reacted accordingly, to the findings. o Lean/ Six Sigma ideology to tackle 5 different projects ranging from Capital Budget Model programming to Total Productive Maintenance metrics and analysis. (Greenbelt Six Sigma certification) o Site Operational Excellence lead in charge of any quality initiative and had the daily morning meeting with the 5 site Managers to assist their daily performance metrics by pushing Lean Initiatives.
